Volunteer

Why Marriage Matters NM  is a grassroots campaign and we depend on volunteers like you to help us lead the conversation about marriage throughout the Land of Enchantment. Everyone can help us build public support for marriage, starting by pledging to publicly support the freedom to marry for all couples in our state.

Check out some of these volunteer opportunities, or contact our Field Organizer (505-266-5916 ext 1013) to discuss how you can help!

Calling for Marriage

Why Marriage Matters NM is organizing phone banks to have meaningful conversations with New Mexicans about the freedom to marry. These conversations will help us reach people across the state who haven’t had the opportunity to hear from a marriage supporter or to ask their questions about why marriage matters.

We’ll provide training before every session so that all our volunteers become experts on the issue. Whether you have experience with phone banking or have never tried it before, you’ll find that our phone banks are a fun way to make a difference throughout the Land of Enchantment!

Contact Daniel Williams for more information on our phone banking schedule this summer!
